Here is a pretty good sweet lamb-chop recipe. The sweet marinade eliminates most of the lamb odor.

  1. In bag, combine soy sauce, sugar, ginger powder, garlic powder and five-spice powder. Add lamb steaks and refrigerate for 48 hours.
  2. Drain and wipe the lamb dry. Thinly coat with oil.
  3. Sear lamb for 1 minute on each side, then bake for 15 minutes at 350° F.
  4. Broil lamb on high for 2 minutes on each side. Let the lamb rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
